Quick update! Today, I got hives and their contents saving properly, along with bees that are just chillinโ€™ in the world. Also fixed that bug from yesterdayโ€™s video where empty inventory slots showed a weird frame.

I decided to change the dimensions of Beep8. I was happy with how things looked on desktop but on mobile the character sprites were too small, I wanted to make it chunkier and easier to read. But this means I have to rebuild all of the games, plus add a smaller text font.

It's interesting the small issues you find while testing your game with different languages. The tooltips text was fitting fine in English but in some languages such as Japanese it was extending outside of the boxes. Refined the bubble ability a bit. Made the bubble bigger and creating a new bubble destroys the old one. You *can* jump and create a new bubble at the same time but itโ€™s frame perfect and you need mp to make bubbles so its not overly cheesable #indiegame #indiedev #gamedev #metroidvania #retrogaming

The levels are randomly generated and there is a 0.000056% chance that the exit gets blocked.

So I added some code that checks if it is still reachable every few seconds. If not, it blows up all unbreakable blocks.

A common warning I give new devs is to be mindful of what .NET Linq does under the hood and when to use it, esp in certain contexts with Unity.
git-amend is not only one of my favorite Unity youtubers, but also one of my favorite git commands. :D

Just patched the EZ Curved Lines 2D plugin to expose the 2 tesselation parameters in update 1.1.0 (under review)

This wil enable you to balance out curve smoothness and performance.
