After testing for a while, I noticed that the loading time was to long on android, so I went my way to optimize and reduce it.
I implemented a loading screen, updated the pooling system, and now am reworking the forest map, enemy sprites, and weapons.

About 3/4 of the way to having enough products so Anza's store feels good and populated. I realize most indie games are like "yeah there's four products and a low-res photo of a shelf" and I love that too, but for reasons not clear to me, I need to have it feel "true" in some way

I'm using the VisuStella MZ Events and Movement plugin in my #RPGMaker project to show character names above their heads. Currently trying to troubleshoot how to make the text follow the player as smoothly as it does events. The event is the first GIF, the player is the second.

For those interested: The incline of escalators is usually 30~35° and a step is about 24 cm high.

Just finished up my water physics and shader, I was shooting for something that would match the style of the terrain. This uses realistic fluid dynamics because why not.

Having played around with it a bit, I'd really suggest #IndieDev folks to sign up for AbleToPlay (it's free!) and dig into the #accessibility options. IMO you are never going to make a game tailored to meet everyone's needs but having an idea what folks may need is a good start.

"Mystic Touch" in #CounterTactics means the damage dealt ignores Armor. So even though the Armor (4) plus the Core (2) of the Shieldbearer is 6, the Haunt deals 5 damage directly to its Core. Haunt wins.

No major visual changes from last week, but I added a proper pause screen complete with volume controls because there is now sound! It needs work, but it's better than adding music in post! Cutscene has also gotten a small rewrite & noises.

Monsters in Witchling Grove now have some separation physics! They bounce off of each other a little bit, so they stay spaced out a bit more nicely.

Here's a turn-based strategy prototype I threw together in Unity last year in just a week. I wanted to challenge myself and learn a whole lot in a short amount of time. All player actions are logged, allowing you to undo and redo actions.

what do you think of the cursor behaviour?

it can mimic the rubikscube transform allowing it to face the same direction, i can take it a step further and print a sprite of the cursor on initial grab spot, so it's linked to the cube and not the mouse position

Rogue Cell was originally inspired by Agar-io's squishy cells and absorption mechanics, which were fun to replicate in #Unity3D. Procedural meshes with "dynamic vertices" that I could displace with spring-like dampening.

It is centre facing background right and has a black pop-shield to the right of it. Scott is in profile far right of shot facing mic. It's going to be a dark fantasy RPG monster collector set on Earth after the rapture, called Blood For Father. It's a dual protagonist game, so I'll probably make the other character next week.

Made enemy spawning wave based and it can easily be modified via custom resources, quite happy with the result too. Next to work on different pattern types, spawn positions and modifications to the enemy movement
