Set up this lil radio. I will need to add a turn on/off sound, and make turn on and turn off two separate things, so you definitely know what you're doing. The particle effect took almost as long to set up as the logic itself 😅

now the fingers of the left hand is all controlled by the IK targets.

Much better! Thanks to remapping, you can replace a spritesheet without worrying about keeping it 1:1 with the new one. Simply match the tiles across both spritesheets, and the tilemap will update accordingly!

we recently did a playtest of our game, and noticed that players wanted to "point" at what was happening in the board, so we have implemented some synced network cursors for the task! (kinda wonky recording, is hard to move multiple cursors at the same time!)

Today I added teleportation of a player to a given point initiated by the server. Although now this is only used to teleport the player in the event of a speed hack or "passing through walls". Verification takes place on the server side.

One of the coolest part in an rpg is when you get a ship and can suddenly access a bunch of new places. I wanted to include that but thought a ship didn’t match the feel. My idea was you can get a whistle that summons a dolphin or whale to ride on

Last update on the fire stuff for now: it now travels up and down stairs and displays smoke on the outside of buildings, and it applies the burnt effect to everything now.

Not bad for a weeks work!

My favourite part about it is the lil bits that hang around awhile!

Seems to have helped. Notably with a few discoloration issues I kept running into with the old method. And this was just a test run with it.
