We're Viberantz Designs, where dark fantasy meets surreal artistry. Each piece tells a story through intricate pen illustrations - from cosmic mushrooms to gothic dreamscapes.
So I did a neat thing in #GodotEngine I made it so my networking is mod-able now, the idea is, they generate a node, are added to a dictionary and used using callbacks, this way, i can add new functions (or make mods), and it be super simple to integrate!

Interesting challenge this card. Class cards have a boat load of information on them and that doesn't leave much room for them to look pretty. This is functional enough to be used in the next playtest. I'll need to do some work later to clean it up. #gamedev#indiedev#cardgames#design#solodev

Update! Currently working on the player controller. Movement is smooth with single button switching between melee and ranged weapons. Projectiles next...
Either I'm absolute idiot with my subpar animation skills, or root motion feels absolutely awful in action. Maybe it isn't worth the effort. And I don't even want to think about lerping the camera, since it'll be like band-aid on a war wound #godot#solodev#devlog#gamedev

I have finally fixed the save system in Sierra Gold. It wasn't even as painful as I thought it would be. Stupid thing has been sitting in the back of my mind nagging me for months now.
As a bonus, I crushed many small, mostly unrelated bugs along the way.

Decided to test the level password idea. That was so much easier to add than I thought it'd be. Definitely going with the password system for the game. It's going to be short enough I don't think a save system is worth struggling over. #gamedev#solodev

Slowly working through Corrin's walk animation; I must say shading and lighting are the most tedious parts of the process, however they're also what brings the characters to life...so I guess the tedium is worth it in the end.

Just implemented the 3d chunk system for my game (previously only had a single chunk lol).
Atm you can only see this by the fact that the world is now 32x16x16 instead of 16x16x16 😅
But it allows me to now add infinite worlds, which is the next step ^^
