Next path finding update. The paths are being correctly recalculated while they move. Adding obstacles or streets on the way will cause the souls to adapt (well, that's the meaning of path finding...).

I built a curve tool for the #unity3d editor awhile back. This week I combined a gen mesh method to create a growing vine. Happy with results I wanted to spawn flowers, but with none in the project I chose a muskrat instead! Turns out 1000s spawned. Feature not bug! #indiedev #gamedev #cozygames

I've been trying a lot of different methods to make this ground feel less flat, finally landed on covering it with grass that is the exact same color.

This keeps the ground from appearing too noisy while adding that fluffy feeling around the edges!

QoL features are in. Chests allow partial stacks to be pulled. Crafting stations now show the item that will be crafted, craft everything in the inventory automatically, and will decline crafting immediately instead of waiting a craft cycle as it did before.

Today's #gamedev of #Cross_Pollinator was focused on figuring out a debug mode to better visualize NPC AI prioritizes for movement. Tiles are colored by score: red = negative, green = near zero, blue = positive.
A little ledger tells you the range of scores all decisions fall into.
